NAIL TRIMMING - £5
Leaving Rabbits and Guinea Pigs nails to grow too long can cause a number of issues and health complications including: changing the angle at which they put their feet down, which can cause strain on joints; longer nails can get snagged easily causing tears to the nail and the nail bed; and can cause your pets to change their weight distribution resulting in strain and wear and tear on the body's joints and bones.
Therefore it is important to ensure your pets nails are regularly trimmed to help to prevent such issues occurring in the first place. We are pleased we are now able to offer this service during their time with us, reducing the amount of trips needed to a groomer or vet.
Guinea Pig Hair Trimming - £10-15
Trimming can be beneficial for a Guinea Pigs health and hygiene - particularly those with long hair (e.g. Peruvian, Silkies or Abyssinian). Regular trimming helps prevent tangles and mats, which could restrict movement and make them uncomfortable. Trimming can also reduce the risk of parasites like lice and helps spot skin problems early.
Furthermore, trimming around the rear end can improve hygiene by preventing urine from getting trapped within the fur.
Give your Guinea Pig the full spar treatment, with prices for both a haircut and nail trim starting at £12

At The Warren, we understand the deep bond you share with your beloved pet. That's why we are committed to providing a nurturing and loving environment for every furry friend that hops through our doors.
